Senior Scientist

AquaLith, Inc. is a rapidly growing, privately funded, green energy company, headquartered in Maryland. We are building our development team and are searching for a world class scientific leader to chart the commercialization path for new products. The company is built on a patent portfolio of revolutionary Lithium-ion battery technologies developed by the University of Maryland.

The Company:

AquaLith provides innovative, high-performance energy storage solutions while creating twenty-first century manufacturing jobs in Maryland. We hold ourselves accountable for great products, superior service at a fair price.

Our operating principles include: (1) meeting the requirements by running to target and reducing variation (2) valuing the individual (3) empowered high-performance work teams, and (4) providing a financial return to our stakeholders.

We produce next-generation materials for advanced Li-ion batteries which include intercalation cathodes and silicon anodes as well as aqueous electrolytes. Our products are high energy, transition metal-free cathodes, non-flammable aqueous electrolytes and long-lived silicon anodes which deal positively with charge / discharge volume changes.
